At Home With You THANKS

As most of my friends will tell you I'm not a big entertainer, but I do love having family over.  That being said I can't help but appreciate those who do love to entertain.  Show a little love to those special folks with a thank you for your hospitality card!!!

Stamp Set - At Home with You
Dies - At Home Framelits
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Markers -  Basic Black, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock - Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler. Basic Black
DSP - Wood Textures
Wink of Stella

Measurements:

Card Base: Basic Black 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4"

Instructions:

Using the Door stamp from the At Home with You set, stamp both the Smoky Slate and Cherry Cobbler with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Stamp 2 Lanterns on scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Memento Tuxedo Black.
Using your Stampin Write Markers color in the edges of the lantern with black and the flame with Daffodil Delight.
Take your At Home Framelits and cut both doors out.  Now take the extra framelit and cut the door opening out on the Cherry Cobble Door.  You will need to use cutting board or snips to cut the final side of the door away as this die is designed for the door to swing.
Using your Window Pane die cut out the windows in the Cherry Cobbler door.
Using Snail place the Smoky Slate door in the center of your Wood Textures paper.
Using Snail place the Cherry Cobbler door on top of the Smoky Slate door, leaving the Smoky Slate showing through the window panes.
Using your Basic Black marker color in the door handle and lock plate.
Add your sentiment below the door with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Using Snail adhere the Wood Textures paper to the base of the card.
Using Dimensionals pop up the lanters on each side of the door.
I always add a piece of Whisper White on the Inside of the cards that have dark bases to allow a personal note to be added.
Finish off with a little Wink Of Stella in the window panes and around the bulb of the lantern to give that glowing look.

Look how different these two cards look, old farmhouse rustic and suburban sheik.  The possibilities are just YOUR creation away!!!
