Wood Words with a Rooster

The new Wood Words Stamp Set includes this FABULOUS Rooster.  Pairing it with the Wood Textures papers and a burlap ribbon just screams farm to me and you know this farm girl is loving that!!!

Supplies:

Stamp Set - Wood Words
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock - Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black
Wood Textures Series Paper
6 1/2" piece of Burlap Ribbon
1 3/8" punch, 2" punch, die from Layering Circles

Measurements:

Card Base: Crumb Cake 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Cherry Cobbler 2' x 5 1/4"
Layer 2: Wood Textures Series Paper 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"

Instructions:

Begin by over lapping your Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with your Wood Textures paper 1/4" using snail.
Using Memento Black ink and a dauber ink the edges.
Using Fast Fuse across the center of the joined pieces place your burlap ribbon.
Stamp the Rooster on Crumb Cake Cardstock, then punch out with 1 3/8" punch.
Using a coordinating size die from the Layering Circles cut out a piece of Cherry Cobble to layer behind the rooster circle.
Ink both edges with Tuxedo Black and a dauber.
Take a piece of Basic Black cardstock and punch a circle with 2" punch.
Adhere rooster to Cherry Cobbler circle and then Cherry Cobbler circle to Basic Black circle with snail.
Now using dimensionals pop up the layered Rooster circle in the middle top of the card just covering the burlap ribbon.
Add sentiment in the bottom right hand corner with Tuxedo Black Ink.
Using the star bundle from the stamp set and Tuxedo Black ink stamp on each side of the Rooster circle.
