Heartland with the Hearth Home Framelits

Gotta Love a Country View

Heartland Stamp Set, Hearth & Home Dies, Pinewood Plank, Embossing Folder, Card, Stampin Up, Rustic, Country, Window

Isn't it amazing how different these 2 cards look, even though they were created with the same stamp set and the same die.  I've got to say that's what I absolutely love about creating with stamps, the possibilities end with your imagination.

I simply took the Hearth and Home Die used with the little boy and geese and used a technique with the big shot to turn a 4 pane window to a 6 pane window for the barn scene.  I used the Wood Textures Paper on one card and the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder on the other.   Never underestimate your imagination, go with the flow.  More times than not your journey will lead you to a beautiful destination :)

Instructions:

Stamp the barn on the 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece of Whisper White using StaZon Jet Black ink.
Take the 5" x 3" piece of Basic Black and cut the window frame with the  Big Shot making sure to only cut half way down by placing the end of the top plate at the half way point on the die.
Reposition the die into the partial cut window panes and repeat the process cutting the remaining side of the window.  Trim the beveled corners on the window frame to make them square.
Using snail adhere the Barn image to the top part of the embossed piece of Whisper White centering it left and right.
Using Mini Dimensionals pop up the Basic Black frame over the Barn image.
Tie the Basic Black Ribbon around a Spritzer bottle and slide off. Then using your Snips cut the loop at an angle to get your ribbon tails.
Place the ribbon on the embossed Whisper White below the window frame using Fast Fuse on the Back and a glue dot under the knot to hold it in place on the front.
Using Fast Fuse adhere embossed piece to the Basic Black cardstock and then the Basic Black onto the Whisper White Card Base.
