Chances are you have an embossing folder that has cracked your card stock or even it cut it at one time or another. The reason this happens is based on many factors. Such as the tension in your particular embossing machine, the quality of your card stock and the depth of the actual embossing folder. We all know you can mist the back of the card stock with water and yes this helps sometimes but then you have to let the card stock dry itself or break out the heat tool. Well my teammate France showed me a awesome tip. Just grab the culprit that gives you grieve place a piece of our vellum card stock in it. Run it through the big shot and leave it. Now place the card stock right on top of the previously embossed vellum and run it through your machine. TA DAAAA. The vellum actually fills a little of the depths taking the stress off the card stock. Check out the video below and you will understand exactly what I'm talking about. Make sure and share this tip with your crafting buddies and I bet they'll hug your neck for it.
