Pretty Kitty MEOW Eclipse Card

Card, Eclipse, Pretty Kitty, Stampin Blends, Classic Label Punch

Eclipse cards are still all the rage and in today's video I'm going to show you how I created these cards using the Classic Label Punch for my Fence.  As you can see I've used my Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers to color my Kitties and also sponged my grass and sky.  I don't really go into that in the video as I wanted to focus on the creating the fence and the Eclipse part of this design.

I couldn't resist bringing a Calico Kitty inside and this sentiment is absolutely spot on.  I'm using some of the new Stampin' Blends Colors in today's video and remember you purchase them as singles or in Combo Packs of Lights & Darks of each Color.  All the Blends are located on page 205 of the current catalog is you would like to add to your collection.

I will admit the Large Letter Framelits are an investment, but are well worth it as the possibilities for cards and scrapbooking are endless.

Dandelion Wishes with the New In Colors Embossing Powders

Card, Dandelion Delight, Blueberry Bushel Embossing Powder, Detailed Trio Punch

Today's card using the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set and the new In Colors Embossing Powders was inspired by my Teammate Estie.  She created the absolutely fabulous Basic Black with Pineapple Punch Embossing Card below.  I've actually duplicated her card exactly with the exception of switching the Basic Black out to Daffodil Delight and the Pineapple Punch out to Blueberry Bushel on both the cardstock and the embossing powder.

Card, Dandelion Delight, Blueberry Bushel Embossing Powder, Detailed Trio Punch

Aren't the curved edges fun on the opposing corners, simply achieved using the new Detailed Trio Punch.  Gotta love a punch that will give you 3 different options :)  If you look closely at my card above you will see a little bit of a blue shadow on the Dandelion.  I used my Embossing Buddy but I should have really gotten after it with the cardstock being so lite.  So learn from my mistake and don't scrimp, powder that cardstock up.

Beautiful Promenade Done Clean & Simple

Card, Beautiful Promenade, Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies, Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, Velvet Ribbon, Clean & Simple

Today's cards are all about the Petal Promenade Suite, featuring the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set, the Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies and the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  As you will see in the video below this is actually a Clean & Simple creation.  The gorgeous Petal Promenade Suite has really done all the work for me with these cards.  Granted, I did bling it up just a bit more with Glimmer Paper and the stunning Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon.  But even if you went with a coordinating cardstock and no ribbon, these cards would still be beautiful.

The card below was created with the same piece of Designer Series Paper as above but the reverse side.  It's got this granite marbled look to it that is so sophisticated and charming.  So bold and beautiful or subtle and sophisticated the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper has you covered.

Dandelion Wishes and Wood Grain Just a Few of My Favorite Things

Card, Dandelion Wishes, Swirly Frames, Wood Textures

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!  I participated in a team swap this last month and have many beautiful creations to share with you over the next few months.  I'm starting off with the rustic Dandelion Wishes Card created by my teammate Shylo.  The Woodgrain Textures Paper is absolutely perfect for the back drop of the dandelion and if you're wondering where the frame around the stamped image came from, well that's a stamp from the new Swirly Frames Set.  She also added some very light sponging with Pool Party to give the stamped image some added dimension.  I just received this stamp set myself and I can't wait to start playing with it.

Card, Dandelion Wishes, Swirly Frames, Wood Textures

I love how Shylo added just a pop of color by taking some of the 3/8" Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon and inking it with Cajun Craze (brilliant touch).  That's all I've got this week, enjoy your weekend and Happy Crafting :)

Inspiration is ALL around Us, If we Take the Time to Look

Card, Rooted in Nature, Lovely as a Tree, Watercolor

A few weeks back I shared my lovely view from my back porch on my FB Business Page.  I hope you're following me there as well as I share lots of things that are going on with the farm.  If you haven't been but would like to simply CLICK HERE and make sure and Like my Page and Turn the Notifications ON.

Very quickly my followers began posting what a lovely card this view would make, and I must say I couldn't have agreed with them more.  So off to my craft room I went, pulling out Rooted in Nature, Lovely as a Tree and the Waterfront Stamp Set, I got busy.

Card, Rooted in Nature, Lovely as a Tree, Watercolor

I wanted this card to be an abstract version of the beauty in the picture above so I grabbed my inks my Aqua Painters and just had fun.  I used our Watercolor Paper on the rough side and I absolutely love how it adds even more texture to the overall look of the card.  Stamping some of the oak leaves from the Rooted In Nature Stamp Set for the background and using the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper is how I chose to pull it all together.

I hope I've inspired you to look at your surroundings in a different light today, they could very possibly be a card in the making :)
