DSP – Fresh Florals Berry Burst
Punch – Daisy
Framelit Dies – Layering Circles
Take your scrap piece of Berry Burst Cardstock and the largest Circle Framelit and run it through your big shot.
Now place a very small amount of snail on the back of your DSP and the circle you just cut. Place the DSP on the card base and the circle on top of it, all lined up exactly where you want your opening to be for your spinner.
Take the next size circle down and line it up on top of the cardstock circle. Run the entire card through the big shot. Now you have cut your center circle through both layers of paper for your window and also created your window frame at the same time.
Using your fine tip glue, place a very thin layer around the frame and glue it onto your DSP.
Bring in your Piercing Pad to use with your Daisy Delight Photopolymer Stamps. Using Berry Burst ink, stamp 4 Daisies including the centers on all 4. We will need 2 for the front and 2 for the back.
Take your blending pen and blend the ink on 2 of the flowers. Add Wink of Stella to the Daisies for some sparkle.
Punch the 4 Daises out with the Daisy Punch.
Using fishing line if available or bakers twine if not cut a piece and adhere from top to bottom across the center of the opening, using FAST FUSE for a durable hold.
Adhere the Designer Series Paper piece to the base of the card with Snail making sure to line your opening up.
Take your scrap piece of Whisper White and Berry Burst and stamp your sentiment I used Happy Birthday from the Feather Together stamp set. Using Snail mount the Whisper White on top of the Berry Burst and then using Dimensionals pop it up on the front lower section of the card.
Assemble your daisies, taking one that you blended and one that is not, using 2-3 glue dots center and pivot them to offset. Now you have 2 Daises completed. One will be for the front of the spinner and one for the back.
Using Fast Fuse to ensure a good hold, place the fast fuse in the middle of the back of both flowers and place 1 behind the string and 1 in front and press together. For added stability I used tombow glue on alternating pedals, gluing the back and front flowers together.
I added a small piece of Whisper White to the lower inside panel, inked the edges and used the small triple daisy stamp included in the set to the right hand side. This allows a place for a personal note.
AND THERE YOU GO!!!! Twist the flower before placing it in the envelope to ensure the recipient gets a spinning surprise when they open it.
