Tip - Organizing your Embossing Folders

Tip to organize Embossing Folders, Stampin Up, Card,

Do you LOVE your Embossing Folders as much as I do?  Do you Forget about your Embossing Folders as much as I do?

I'm an out of sight out of mind kind of girl.  Well I have resolved the out of sight problem I've had with my embossing folders so now that examples of ALL of them are displayed right in front of my work area.  Yep, you read that correctly.  Get those embossing folders out and use this tip below and I promise you will be looking for me to hug my neck!!

Remember a little work on the front side will save you tons of time on the back end when you are designing ;)

  1. Great idea! I love learning new ways to organize my supplies so I actually KNOW what I have! I've started putting my matching SU dies with the stamp set they coordinate with on magnetic sheets. Then I label the die envelope with the stamp set it coordinates with so I know where to find it if I want to use it for something else. I've scanned a pic of the set and the die and place them both in each folder/stamp set. It was a lot of work but worth the effort!!

  2. similar idea I bought 2 rolladexes at a thrift store and embossed the index cards that come with them that are usually used for names. I used my Brother labeler on the index card and on the embossing folder. Arranged them Alphabetically with two special sections Stampin Up and Darice...Seems my mind identifies the company first then the folder
