I couldn’t wait to play with the Eclectic Expressions Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set as I love simple abstract cards. If you’re looking to put a card together quickly today’s video has you covered below. I really think the most difficult part of designing these cards was deciding which colors to use. What a fun problem to have, right. Even though it appears that I used 6 different ink colors, it’s actually just 3 and for each I stamped off one time. Remember, you can get many tones with 1 ink pad just by stamping off multiple times.
The colors above are Rich Razzleberry, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder. I chose Perfect Plum Card Stock for the first layer of my card to give it that extra pop of color. My final touch was adding the Thank You and spots from the stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black and the 3/8″ Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon.
For the card below I changed my color combination up, using Pacific Point Card Stock for the First Layer and the inks Island Indigo, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party. Finishing it off with Pacific Point Ink for my spots and Thank You and 1/4″ Stitched Edge Ribbon also in Pacific Point.
Card Base – Whisper White – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
First Layer – Pacific Point – 5 1/4″ x 4″
Second Layer – Whisper White – 5″ x 3 3/4″
Ribbon – 9″
