I’ve made it no secret that I absolutely love the True Gentlman Suite of products in the Occasions Catalog. But when a card can stand on it’s own when simply created with paper, you’ve got to admit that’s saying something. Michele Lynn Cox is the creator of this adorable shirt and tie card. Yep, I’m squealing!!! I couldn’t wait to see how she made this card and believe it or not its actually quite simple. She took a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base, scored it at 4 1/4″ and then trimmed it in 1″, 3/4″ down from the fold on both sides. She then folded the trimmed edges at an angle and to allow the card to open she cut the back layer off and adhered it to the front layer which also gave the card added depth. It appears she free hand cut the tie and adhered everything together, using the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper. What a wonderful masculine card for any occasion.
