Card, Mixed Drinks, Stitched Shapes Dies, Party

How stinking cute is the Mixed Drinks Happy Hour card created by Tere Ayson?  I love it when I swap for a creation that is like nothing I would every create myself.  Tere used a Technique from Lydia Fiedler where she stamped her image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White Cardstock and cut it out using the  Stitched Shapes Framelits.  She then mixed 20 drops of So Saffron re-inker into a Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Rolling it not shaking it to mix it.  She then applied the mixture to the stamped image.  She then recommends popping the bubbles with your nails (I would use a straight pin) for the best results.  Then let it dry completely.  I’ve got to tell you the pictures don’t do it justice as its raised and glossy.  Once it was dry she then chose the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper and Black Cardstock to pull it all together.  This is a technique I’m definitely going to have to try.  Thanks Tere for inspiring me 🙂
