Telescoping Postcard Pals Card

Card, Postcard Pals, Telescope, Technique

Are you squealing, are you??? Let me tell you that this girl is for sure!!!  I received a beautiful telescope card from my teammate France Martin and I decided to share it with you and create one of my own too.  How stinkin cute is the little guy from the new Postcard Pals Stamp Set.  I absolutely love him and it also gave me the opportunity to play with my Stampin' Blends, eeekkkk does it get any better.  If your wondering how to create this technique which is called telescoping, it's actually very easy.  Just grab your layering circles, ovals or squares.  I started by deciding which size I wanted for the largest and then skipped every other die in the set and worked my way to the middle.

Make sure and place all the dies over the image and tape it down with your repositional tape or a post it note.  Then run it through the Big Shot.  Once everything is cut put it back together and decide your placement.  Take some tweezers and pick up the center piece, add adhesive to it and place it back down.  Now you can remove the rest and start building your frames.  The next piece I used our Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, then moved on to the next with our Adhesive Foam Strips.  I finished off with the large layer (5" x 3 3/4") by stacking 2 of the Adhesive Foam Strips on top of each other.

Below is the card France created using the Petal Palette Stamp Set and the Layering Oval Framelits.  She also colored hers in and I think it's absolutely beautiful.  These cards are actually quite simple to make if you have the right tools and adhesives, so give it a try, trust me you're gonna love it.
