Tip - Controlling Metallic Thread

Tip, Metallic Thread, Paper Crafting, Stampin UP

Our Metallic Thread is a staple in my craft room for adding an extra bit of texture and pizzazz on many of my creations and for these reasons I love it.  However, what I don't like is when I remove the tape from the end of the thread and it decides to take on a mind of its own and spindle out of control.  Well, I had another light bulb moment and now I no longer have this problem.  Check out the quick Tip Video below and take control of your Metallic Thread like I have.

  3. This is much better than the razor blade I was using to do the same thing. I make it on an angle rather than a 90 degree cut into the spool to hold it better. Maybe you said that in the video and I missed it.
