Rustic and simple best describes today's Christmas Card, however you could really use the card for many occasions by simply changing the color theme and leaving Santa in his sleigh off the design. If you've over looked the Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon it's not too late. It has beautiful shimmer and shine and helps to add texture to your creations as you can see in both images.
In my keeping it real fashion, I recommend grabbing a piece of scrap paper and practice stamping your houses to get the perfect alignment your looking for. As you can see I've used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Squares Framelits for the focal point of my card and I believe these framelits are a must for all crafters. Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and Smoky Slate were my inks of choice for this hometown scene and I finished it off by adding snow on the ground with my Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blends Marker.
