Live as if someone left the gate open! Wow, what an awesome sentiment and something we should all strive for in our lifes. As soon as I saw the new Birch Background Stamp I thought coupling it with the Let it Ride Stamp Set and the Woodland Textures Embossing Folder. When you have horses it’s so relaxing to just watch them out in the pastures just simply being horses.
I chose to create the card above using Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow and to color my horses and background with my Stampin Blends Markers. As you’ll see in the video below, I also wanted you to see how a monochromatic version of this cards carries just as much charm. I’ll let you weigh in as to which you prefer or you may be like me and like them both. Either way these cards are so versatile for many occasions and so much fun to create as well.
If you’re wondering how I got the horses to appear behind the trees, you’ll see just how easy it is in the creative video below. My final touch was adding the horses to the inside of the card in the lower left hand corner.
