Painted Poppies & Peaceful Moments Clean & Simple Card

Hi Guys,

Everyone is loving the Peaceful Poppies Suite which includes the Painted Poppies Bundle and the Peaceful Moments Bundle.  It also has the stunning Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon as well.  I received this clean and simple kit that was designed by one of our OnStage presenters and I just had to share it with you.

I’m using both the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments Stamp Set for this quick card and I’ve listed them separably below for purchase.  But trust me, you want the Bundles for both of these sets.  This will open up unlimited possibilities for your creations as you’ll see in future posts here on my blog.

Painted Poppies & Peaceful Moments Clean & Simple Card

This card started off with a Poppy Parade Cardstock Base.  I then stamped the large Poppy and the small leaf from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set randomly over the base, on both the front and back of the card, using Poppy Parade Ink.  Two different pieces of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper were used for the focal point of the card and adhered to the card base with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.  The Happy Birthday sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set was used with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on the strip of Whisper White and then the bottom edge was torn off.

I used the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and colored it with my Soft Sea Foam Dark Stampin’ Blend Marker to give it a pop of color and wrapped it around the top of the sentiment piece.  This piece was then popped up on top of the designer series paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I wanted to bring the party inside and accomplished this by stamping the large poppy with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then using the filler stamp to add color with Poppy Parade Ink.  Wow is this card easy to create and you could whip a bunch out in no time at all.  So hold on to those small pieces of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper as you’ll want to use every scrap of them.
