I also wanted to let you know that beginning TOMORROW, January 3, 2020, you can order the The Cutting Blades Multipack (item #152391) for your new trimmers from the January–June 2020 Mini Catalog. The pack includes four blades for $12.00.
Today’s card was created with the Tasteful Textures Bundle, which includes the Tasteful Textures Stamp Set and the Tasteful Background Textures Dies (remember buy the bundles and you’ll save 10%). I was looking to create a generic card that was quick and easy but still had a lot of character to it. So I started off with a Rich Razzleberry Card Base and stamped the florentine type image all over it in Night of Navy Ink, making sure to stamp of the edges so it didn’t have a real uniform feel to it. I then grabbed my largest Square from the Layering Squares Dies and cut out the Whisper White piece of cardstock. Once this piece was cut, I used the textured looking stamp and Rich Razzleberry ink and covered it from edge to edge, overlapping if necessary.
I then used the florentine die from the Tasteful Background Dies to cut the center out. I stamped my sentiment on the Whisper White rectangle in Night of Navy and glued it to the Rich Razzleberry rectangle piece of cardstock. I wanted to add a bit more texture behind the sentiment and chose the Whisper White Flax Ribbon. I wanted it to coordinate with my card base, so I colored it using light pressure with the wide tip of my Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blends Marker (remember to use the edge of the marker not the tip). Now I just needed to put the card together by placing the Night of Navy piece on the card base, followed by the See of Silhouette Designer Series Paper Layer and last but not least the Whisper White Die Cut Piece which I popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered my ribbon and sentiment to the front of the card and stamped the florentine image on the inside Whisper White Layer in Night of Navy and glued it down to complete the card.
I must say, I love how this card all came together and I hope whoever receives it enjoys it as well.
